Spring Health has been named to the TIME100 Most Influential Companies of 2026 and separately cited as one of TIME’s 10 Most Influential Wellness Companies, underscoring the strategic significance of its AI-native mental health platform. TIME highlighted Spring Health’s shift beyond traditional employer benefits toward a durable, longitudinal care model designed to keep members connected to appropriate support as employment, insurance coverage, and clinical needs evolve.
This recognition comes during Spring Health’s 10th year, marked by several defining moves, including a January agreement to acquire Alma and its network of independent clinicians to integrate Spring Health’s employer infrastructure with a broad provider base and improve continuity of care. In February, the company released findings from VERA-MH, an open-source benchmark for assessing how AI systems handle high-risk mental health conversations, revealing substantial safety gaps in common chatbots while offering an industry standard for crisis recognition and escalation. In April, Spring Health launched Guide, its AI tool that supports users across all stages of their mental health journey, reporting up to 25% greater symptom improvement among those with the highest clinical need, and CEO April Koh framed the TIME100 honor as validation that continuity of care, not just access, is the core market challenge the company aims to solve.
