Smartcat has introduced new multi-agent AI systems for course creation and translation aimed at enterprise learning and development teams, positioning its platform as a core infrastructure for continuously adapting training content to fast-changing local market conditions. Announced at Learning Technologies London 2026, the capabilities are designed to cut production and localization times by up to 90%, directly addressing rising content demand and mounting compliance pressures in heavily regulated sectors.
The company’s research shows that 75% of L&D teams are seeing content volumes grow at least 25% year over year, while half cite regulatory compliance velocity as their primary source of complexity, making Smartcat’s automation a potential lever for cost savings and risk mitigation. The new solution combines end-to-end course authoring and translation across formats such as video, images, interactions, PDFs, and attachments into a single workflow powered by Smartcat’s Customer Intelligence Fabric, which learns from expert edits so quality improves over time rather than restarting with each project.
A key differentiator is Smartcat’s claim to be the first AI platform capable of translating full SCORM packages, including embedded interactions, multimedia assets, and attachments, enabling enterprises to localize entire learning experiences rather than piece-by-piece content. Continuous update capability with delta detection further reduces operational overhead by automatically identifying source changes and retranslating only updated segments, supporting consistent global training while lowering turnaround times and translation spend.
CTO Sherali Karimov framed the launch as eliminating the trade-off between speed and reliability, arguing that Smartcat’s AI agents allow real-time adjustments in every required language without increasing error risk, which is critical for sectors exposed to frequent policy or regulatory shifts. At Learning Technologies London, Smartcat is using live demonstrations and sessions on scaling global training without risk to reinforce its positioning as an enterprise-grade AI layer for multilingual content and compliance workflows, with the clear strategic goal of deepening adoption among large global organizations that must keep training aligned with market, policy, and access changes in near real time.
