Shield AI has been selected as a mission autonomy provider for the U.S. Air Force’s Collaborative Combat Aircraft program, positioning its Hivemind software at the core of a key next‑generation airpower initiative. Following a competitive evaluation under the Technology Maturity and Risk Reduction phase, Hivemind has been integrated onto Anduril’s Fury (YFQ‑44A) aircraft, with system‑level testing underway ahead of flight demonstrations expected in the coming months.

For Shield AI, the award deepens its role in U.S. defense autonomy and validates more than a decade of investment in mission‑critical AI, potentially supporting future production opportunities if the CCA program scales.
