Scripta Insights has entered a strategic integration partnership with Quantum Health to embed its clinically governed prescription savings and guidance engine into Quantum’s healthcare navigation platform, positioning Scripta at the core of a coordinated push to reduce pharmacy costs for self-funded employers. Under the agreement, Scripta’s technology will systematically surface clinically appropriate, lower-cost medication alternatives within existing plan designs and PBM contracts, enabling Quantum’s 500-plus employer clients to attack one of the fastest-growing components of total healthcare spend.
For Scripta, the deal materially expands distribution of its platform, which already supports more than 100 employer and health plan clients, has mapped over 17,000 drugs, and delivered more than $100 million in savings with a reported 5.05x lifetime ROI and 93% one-year retention of switched prescriptions. Quantum’s care teams will use Scripta’s analytics to personalize savings opportunities, engage members and prescribers on therapy optimization—including biosimilar adoption where appropriate—and provide benefits leaders with detailed reporting on savings opportunities, actions taken, and impact over time.
By operating across any PBM arrangement and fitting into existing benefit structures, Scripta gains scalability without displacing current vendor relationships, a key consideration for large employers and consultants. Scripta CEO Eric Levin framed the partnership as a way to extend a trusted navigation experience into routine prescription decisions, giving employers a more effective lever to manage pharmacy inflation while protecting quality of care.
The integration supports targeted strategies for high-cost specialty drugs and helps self-funded plans improve transparency by surfacing drug price comparisons at the point of decision, which may further differentiate Scripta’s value proposition in a crowded cost-containment market. Strategically, the alignment with Quantum Health’s technology-enabled, AI-supported navigation ecosystem—bolstered by its recent acquisitions in provider analytics and virtual care—positions Scripta as a core pharmacy intelligence layer inside a scaled care navigation platform.
This could accelerate Scripta’s growth, strengthen its data advantages as more prescription decisions flow through its engine, and enhance its appeal to future employer, health plan, and channel partners seeking integrated medical and pharmacy cost management. Stakeholders will watch execution metrics such as incremental savings realized for shared clients, adoption rates of recommended switches, and expansion of the joint solution across Quantum’s 20+ million-member base. A joint webinar on June 3, 2026, is expected to drive employer awareness and may signal the start of broader commercialization of this integrated offering.
