RoboSense (2498.HK) reported Q1 2026 LiDAR shipments of 330,300 units, a 204.1% year-on-year increase, underscoring accelerating demand across its core markets. Within this total, ADAS-focused automotive LiDAR accounted for 144,800 units, while robotics and other applications reached 185,500 units, marking a 1,458.8% year-on-year surge and the first quarter in which robotics volumes exceeded the automotive ADAS segment.
The company is consolidating its leadership in robotics LiDAR, having previously achieved global number-one status in 2025 with more than 303,000 units shipped and now leading in five key categories: robotic lawn mowers, autonomous delivery, humanoid robots, embodied AI, and commercial cleaning robots. RoboSense’s strategy is anchored in a dual-engine growth model, leveraging its AEC-Q-certified, fully in-house LiDAR chipsets and a broad digital LiDAR portfolio to drive scale in both automotive and robotics, while expanding into robotic manipulation solutions such as vision systems and dexterous hands to capture emerging Physical AI opportunities and deepen engagement with over 3,400 global clients and 310 OEM and Tier-1 partners.
