RightRev Unveils AI Platform ‘Revi’ to Automate Revenue Accounting End-to-End

New updates have been reported about RightRev.

Meet Samuel – Your Personal Investing Prophet

RightRev has launched Revi, an AI-driven revenue automation platform embedded directly into its revenue recognition engine to streamline labor-intensive accounting workflows and improve close efficiency for finance teams. Positioned as a governed, audit-ready AI layer at the top of the CFO tech stack, Revi uses deterministic, context-aware models with full traceability to source data and revenue policies, aiming to deliver consistent, audit-defensible outputs.

The initial release features two core AI agents: a Contract Review Agent that parses agreements, identifies performance obligations, and applies revenue rules to generate audit-ready checklists, and an Anomaly Detector Agent that continuously scans revenue schedules to flag and explain variances before they affect reporting. Additional components include configurable Revi Agents for custom revenue tasks, a Revi Assistant that provides conversational access to governed revenue intelligence for accounting and FP&A, and Revi Architect, a no-code environment for designing and simulating revenue policies at scale.

RightRev’s leadership argues that these capabilities address a growing bottleneck in revenue accounting, where teams often rely on ERP patchworks and spreadsheets and spend up to half their time on the close and a third on contract reviews. By automating repeatable tasks while retaining human-in-the-loop controls, the company expects Revi to shorten close cycles, reduce manual investigations, and expand operational capacity without compromising audit integrity.

The launch targets enterprises and growth-stage companies grappling with complex pricing, consumption models, and revenue leakage, positioning RightRev to capture a rapidly expanding market for practical AI in finance. Revi is designed to run without exposing sensitive revenue data to external networks and sits on a platform that is SOC 1 and SOC 2 compliant, reinforcing its appeal to security- and compliance-sensitive customers.

RightRev, founded in 2020 and backed by more than $30 million from investors including Norwest, Salesforce Ventures, Snowflake Ventures, Innovius Capital, and Cheyenne Ventures, already supports customers in financial services, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise software. By integrating governed AI directly into ASC 606, IFRS 15, ASC 842, and IFRS 16 workflows, the company is positioning Revi as a strategic lever for CFOs seeking to scale revenue operations, support new business models, and turn finance into a growth enabler rather than a constraint.
