Renterra has raised $9 million in a Series A round led by Avenue Growth Partners, with participation from existing investors, providing fresh capital to scale its equipment rental software platform across North America. The funds will be used to expand headcount in engineering, product, customer success, and go-to-market roles, while intensifying investment in the company’s core technology stack and AI capabilities. Renterra currently serves hundreds of rental businesses in the U.S. and Canada, processing hundreds of millions of dollars in annual rental transactions, positioning the company as a key infrastructure provider to the construction and infrastructure rental ecosystem. CEO and Co-Founder Andy Feis said the funding will enable Renterra to accelerate product development and industry reach, emphasizing that rental businesses, long underserved by software, require modern, data-driven tools to compete and grow.

Strategically, Renterra is doubling down on practical AI applications embedded in its all-in-one operating system, aimed at optimizing operations, marketing, and decision-making for rental companies of all sizes. The company’s roadmap focuses on helping customers run more efficient fleets, enhance customer experience, and identify new revenue opportunities, with AI as a core differentiator in a traditionally analog industry. Avenue Growth Partners’ involvement brings sector-specific expertise in vertical SaaS and is expected to support Renterra’s push to become the foundational software layer for the rental sector as AI adoption accelerates. Avenue Co-Founder Ryan Russell highlighted Renterra’s existing impact on rental workflows and suggested the company is positioned to become a category leader as technology-driven advantages become more critical for operators. The Series A marks a pivotal scaling phase for Renterra, reinforcing its financial footing and strategic ambition to define the next decade of software for equipment rental businesses across North America.
