Remote has crossed $300 million in annual recurring revenue and achieved cash-flow positivity on the back of more than 300% year-over-year growth in its payroll business, strengthening its position as a core infrastructure provider for cross-border employment. The company now processes billions in payroll annually through over 100 owned legal entities and regulated payment institutions, and its platform underpins global hiring and payments for tens of thousands of customers as well as major HR suites that embed Remote to power their own international employment offerings.
Building on this scale, Remote is opening its infrastructure more broadly to partners, customers, developers, and AI agents, introducing Remote MCP to give AI systems secure, real-time access to payroll, contracts, compliance data, and organizational structures, and Remote Build to provide tailored architecture and implementation support for complex deployments. Management frames global employment infrastructure as a strategic layer rather than back-office plumbing, arguing that rising cross-border compliance risks and AI-driven HR tooling create a durable demand tailwind for its Employer of Record, Global Payroll, PEO, and contractor solutions, and signals that expanding programmability and ecosystem access will be the foundation for its next phase of growth.
