RELEX Solutions Wins Major AWG Contract to Overhaul Forecasting Across 3,500 Stores

RELEX Solutions has secured a strategic deployment with Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc. (AWG), under which its AI-native platform will replace AWG’s legacy in-house forecasting and replenishment tools across nine wholesale division support centers serving 1,100 member companies and 3,500 stores in 33 states. The agreement positions RELEX at the core of AWG’s supply chain planning, with the goal of improving demand accuracy, boosting in-stock rates, and optimizing fresh product management to directly support sales growth and margin protection for independent grocers.

By automating and unifying forecasting and replenishment on a single platform, RELEX is expected to help AWG cut waste, enhance supply chain visibility, and enable faster, data-led decisions in both fresh and center-store categories, strengthening the value proposition for AWG’s members. AWG executives cited RELEX’s expertise in wholesale and fresh optimization as a key factor in the selection, while RELEX leadership emphasized the ability to deliver higher availability at the lowest possible cost, indicating meaningful recurring SaaS revenue potential and a reference deployment at scale that can underpin further growth in the North American grocery and wholesale segment.
