RELEX Solutions has secured a major U.S. grocery customer, with Hy-Vee selecting its AI-enabled platform to manage demand forecasting, replenishment, and fresh store ordering across the retailer’s multi-state store and distribution network. The deployment positions RELEX at the core of Hy-Vee’s operational planning as the grocer seeks to keep shelves stocked, improve fresh product availability, and ease workload on store teams amid increasingly volatile demand.
By unifying planning for both fresh and center-store categories, RELEX will give Hy-Vee greater visibility from distribution centers to individual stores and automate more daily ordering decisions, particularly in fresh departments where forecast precision is crucial to reducing waste and avoiding stockouts. RELEX executive Doug Iverson said the platform will integrate forecasting, replenishment, and fresh store ordering in a single system, enabling tighter coordination across the supply chain and supporting Hy-Vee’s brand promise on freshness and service while underscoring RELEX’s strategy to deepen its footprint with large North American grocery chains.
