Relativity is deepening its Asia-Pacific strategy by creating a Singapore entity in the fourth quarter, enabling local hiring and a stronger in-region presence to support rising demand for legal data intelligence. Announced at RelFest Sydney, the move positions Singapore as a hub as APAC organisations grapple with escalating data volumes, stricter regulations, and more complex cross-border matters.
The company reports robust regional uptake of its AI-enabled cloud platform: RelativityOne usage grew 57% year over year in Australia and New Zealand and 46% in Asia, while documents reviewed with Relativity aiR for Review in ANZ surged 2,200%, indicating customers are operationalising AI at scale rather than piloting. Relativity is also advancing its AI roadmap, with aiR Assist and Custom analyses in Advanced Access, offering natural language querying and no-code, tailored AI workflows that extract structured insights from text and images, accelerate case understanding, and reduce manual effort.
These capabilities support a market where whistleblower reports in APAC climbed roughly 26% from 2021 to 2024, data security incidents rose more than 25% between 2024 and 2025, and Australian freedom-of-information requests increased 25% in FY24–25, all contributing to heavier investigative, compliance, and disclosure loads. Relativity positions its platform as both a system of record and a system of action, enabling legal teams to preserve institutional knowledge while using AI to drive decisions across litigation, investigations, and regulatory responses.
Customer use cases highlight productivity gains and cost leverage, with firms using aiR for Review, aiR for Case Strategy, and aiR Assist to compress work that previously took weeks into hours by rapidly mapping key individuals, relationships, and financial structures. Relativity’s continued investment in APAC infrastructure, product innovation, and AI-driven workflows is designed to secure long-term recurring revenue growth from regional enterprises, law firms, and government agencies seeking scalable, defensible legal data solutions.
