Relativity has moved its generative AI case intelligence product, aiR for Case Strategy, into full general availability, positioning the company to capture more spend from law firms and corporates seeking faster, data-driven case preparation. Integrated into RelativityOne, the tool automatically extracts key facts from documents and transcripts, builds timelines, drafts summaries, and supports deposition preparation, effectively shifting Relativity further up the value chain from document review into narrative and strategy development. According to CEO Phil Saunders, expanding case intelligence capabilities is core to the company’s strategy of giving customers earlier, more complete insight into their matters, which in turn deepens platform stickiness and increases the importance of Relativity in litigation workflows. Early adopters—more than 50 customers—have already used aiR for Case Strategy to extract roughly 600,000 facts, reporting up to 70% faster fact-gathering, significant reductions in manual review time, and improved collaboration across litigation and investigation teams.
Functionally, the product turns large volumes of unstructured evidence—emails, chats, contracts, depositions—into structured, searchable timelines, highlighting gaps in the record and mapping relationships among people, documents, and testimony, which is directly relevant for high-stakes disputes and regulatory matters. New transcript-focused capabilities, including automated summaries, collaborative annotations, trial excerpt designation, and multi-sync video deposition support, extend Relativity’s reach into later phases of the litigation life cycle and increase its value for litigation support professionals. By serving as a centralized case intelligence hub within RelativityOne, aiR for Case Strategy breaks down workflow silos, allowing review teams, case teams, and partners to operate from a single set of AI-derived insights and potentially increasing overall seat utilization on the platform. The product is now available across major legal markets including the U.S., U.K., Europe, APAC, the Middle East, and Latin America, with a launch in RelativityOne Government targeted for the first half of 2026, signaling an intent to expand adoption in the public sector and further entrench Relativity as a core legal data infrastructure provider.
