Relativity Partners With Wickard.ai to Seed AI Skills Across U.S. Law Schools

New updates have been reported about Relativity.

Meet Samuel – Your Personal Investing Prophet

Relativity is expanding its strategic footprint in legal education through a new partnership with Wickard.ai aimed at embedding hands-on AI training in law schools across the United States. The collaboration integrates Relativity’s Academic program and its RelativityOne legal data intelligence platform with Wickard.ai’s AI curriculum, giving students free access to tools already used by global law firms, corporations, and government agencies.

The initiative is intended to accelerate AI literacy among future lawyers by offering out-of-the-box programs covering practical AI use in legal work, verification of AI outputs, ethics and professional responsibility, and evolving AI regulation. Relativity CEO Phil Saunders said the company sees a responsibility to align legal education with the reality that AI is already reshaping how legal data challenges are addressed, while Wickard.ai’s CEO Oliver Roberts underscored that AI proficiency is becoming a core competency for new attorneys.

Relativity’s Academic program, launched in 2014 and already adopted by more than 115 institutions worldwide, is central to this strategy and will now be paired with Wickard.ai’s focused AI training experience at leading law schools. For Relativity, the move is a long-term talent and ecosystem investment that familiarizes the next generation of legal professionals with its cloud-based RelativityOne platform, potentially strengthening future demand and deepening its relationships with law schools and, by extension, major legal employers.

Wickard.ai brings recent experience running some of the first structured legal AI courses in the country, including a required AI class at Case Western Reserve University School of Law and programs at several other institutions, which Relativity can leverage to scale its educational reach efficiently. The companies will also promote their approach to integrating AI into legal curricula through an April 30, 2026 webinar, positioning Relativity not only as a core technology provider in legal data intelligence but also as a thought leader in shaping how AI is taught and governed within the legal profession.
