Raspberry AI Bolsters Fashion Design Platform With New Boards Workspace and Annotation Tools

Raspberry AI introduced significant upgrades to its fashion design platform this week, underscoring a push toward deeper integration in apparel design workflows. The company rolled out its new Boards workspace in open beta, positioning it as the central hub for real-time collaboration, asset reuse, and rapid image generation across its tools.

Boards allows design teams to compare options side by side, share prompt histories, and continue working while generations complete, aiming to streamline iterative product development. To encourage adoption, Raspberry AI is offering 300 free credits to Basic, Pro, and Enterprise users, with early enterprise feedback reportedly positive.

Alongside Boards, Raspberry AI released a 56-page AI Apparel Lookbook showcasing fully AI-generated campaign imagery for fashion brands. The lookbook highlights workflows such as Sketch to Render, Apply Fabric, Colorways, On Body, and Multi-View, and includes workflow breakdowns and prompts to lower onboarding friction for non-technical users.

The company also highlighted a new Annotation Support feature within Boards that lets users draw directly on garment images to guide precise design edits. Use cases include adjusting necklines, seams, sleeves, silhouettes, hardware details, and hemlines, reinforcing Raspberry AI’s focus on professional apparel design rather than casual use.

These annotation tools emphasize visual, draw-based controls intended to improve usability and reduce the learning curve for product development and merchandising teams. By deepening design-specific capabilities versus generic image editors, Raspberry AI is seeking to strengthen user engagement, retention, and its position in the digital product creation stack.

Collectively, the Boards launch, credit incentives, AI Apparel Lookbook, and annotation enhancements signal continued R&D investment and a shift toward workflow-centric, verticalized solutions in AI design. If these features sustain higher engagement and credit consumption, they could improve Raspberry AI’s competitive standing and monetization prospects, marking a strategically important week for the company.
