Rally Ventures Expands Operating Bench With AI-Focused Revenue Leader Liz Benz

New updates have been reported about Rally Ventures.

Rally Ventures has strengthened its operating team by appointing longtime technology partner and former Jamf Chief Sales Officer Liz Benz as a full-time Operating Partner, a move aimed at accelerating portfolio growth and sharpening AI-driven go-to-market execution. Benz, who helped scale Jamf from roughly $70 million to more than $700 million in annual recurring revenue and previously led high-growth sales organizations at Field Nation, Oracle and Digital River, will now work day-to-day with Rally’s early-stage business technology companies on revenue strategy, global sales operations and breaking through scale bottlenecks.

In addition to hands-on portfolio support, Benz will help advance Rally Built, the firm’s internal company-creation platform that complements its Seed and Series A strategy and is tightly aligned with its current focus on AI/ML, fintech and cybersecurity from Rally Fund V. Managing Directors Justin Kaufenberg and Jeff Hinck emphasized that Benz’s track record in building repeatable, enterprise-grade go-to-market engines positions Rally to drive faster, more capital-efficient growth across its holdings, while Benz noted that the full-time role allows her to work more deeply with founders from the earliest stages. She joins a growing operating bench that recently added Ben Fried as Venture Partner and Luke Zaientz as Operating Partner, signaling Rally’s continued investment in value-creation capabilities that can enhance returns and differentiation in a competitive early-stage venture market.
