Quest Software has launched the Quest Security Management Platform, an AI-powered, unified suite for Identity Threat Detection and Response and secure Microsoft identity modernization, consolidating detection, recovery, and migration into a single offering. The platform targets escalating identity risks from AI agents, the rapid proliferation of non-human identities, and hybrid Microsoft environments, giving enterprises one control point to manage identity threats, accelerate recovery, and modernize legacy systems without increasing exposure.

Built around Quest Identity Defense, Quest Identity Recovery, and the company’s Microsoft 365–certified On Demand Migration, the platform integrates prevention, detection, response, recovery, and modernization in line with NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 and Gartner guidance. Drawing on more than 25 years of Microsoft platform experience and over 200 petabytes of data moved, Quest claims it can automate recovery up to 90 percent faster and improve mean time to response by 44 percent, reducing downtime costs that can reach millions per incident, particularly as most organizations still under-test identity recovery and face an 82:1 ratio of non-human to human identities.
