Qloud Games has shared an update. The company has raised a US$5 million seed round led by BITKRAFT Ventures and GFR Fund, with additional participation from a16z speedrun, 1Up Ventures, and Gaingels. Qloud Games, founded three years ago, is developing Loftia, an online social game positioned as an immersive “third space” experience. The team has grown to around 30 employees and is conducting Alpha playtests with its community as it progresses toward an Early Access launch.

For investors, the successful seed raise from established gaming and technology-focused venture firms validates Qloud Games’ concept and provides capital to advance Loftia through key development milestones. The participation of well-known sector investors may enhance the company’s credibility, support future fundraising efforts, and expand strategic networks within the games and interactive media ecosystem. The move from Alpha testing toward Early Access indicates the project is maturing from concept to a potentially revenue-generating product, though Loftia remains pre-launch and subject to execution and market adoption risk. If Loftia gains traction as a scalable online community platform, Qloud Games could benefit from recurring revenue streams and strong user engagement dynamics typical of successful live-service titles, but timelines and commercial outcomes are still uncertain at this stage.
