Prophecy has launched version 4 of its AI-driven data preparation and analysis platform, positioning the company to capture a larger share of enterprise analytics workloads by embedding Claude Code-based agents directly into visual data workflows. The release enables business users to express intent in natural language, have AI agents generate and execute production-grade code on Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery, and then review the logic through visual, inspectable workflows synchronized with underlying Git-managed code.
The company is targeting a core bottleneck in analytics, where non-programmer business users rely on central data teams and legacy desktop tools, causing ticket backlogs and slow iteration, and Prophecy v4 aims to replace these tools with a cloud-native, AI-first alternative that reduces work that once took days or weeks to minutes of interactive review. By inheriting identity, access controls, and governance from underlying data platforms while making workflows auditable and reproducible by default, Prophecy is positioning its offering as enterprise-ready, allowing business-built logic to transition cleanly into production environments and potentially increasing adoption among large, regulated organizations.
