Persona AI Hires Manufacturing Chief to Scale Humanoid Robot Production Globally

New updates have been reported about Persona AI.

Meet Samuel – Your Personal Investing Prophet

Persona AI has appointed veteran operations leader Brian Davis as head of global manufacturing, signaling an aggressive shift from prototyping to scaled production of its industrial humanoid robots. The Houston-based company is designing manufacturing infrastructure to support global deployment into shipyards, steel mills, and energy infrastructure sites, aligning capacity with newly signed agreements with HD Hyundai and POSCO Group and a pilot project underway in Louisiana.

Davis, who previously led operations at Amazon Robotics and Dell Technologies (formerly EMC), oversaw manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, quality, and real estate as both organizations increased output roughly 25-fold in four years, experience Persona AI now aims to replicate. CEO and co-founder Nicolaus Radford said the company needs leadership that has taken robots from prototype to mass production in harsh industrial environments, while Davis emphasized that bridging lab feasibility to commercial value will require disciplined supply chain systems, rigorous quality control, and standardized processes for safe, large-scale production. Founded in 2024 and built on decades of robotics work in extreme environments such as space and deep-sea exploration, Persona AI is positioning its humanoids to address structural labor shortages in dynamic welding, fabrication, and heavy-equipment maintenance, potentially unlocking significant recurring revenue streams as industrial customers seek automation for high-risk, high-value tasks.
