Oshi Health has entered a strategic partnership with One GI, a large network of independent gastroenterology practices, positioning its virtual multidisciplinary GI clinic at the core of One GI’s capacity expansion strategy. Through Oshi’s Access+ program, One GI practices can deploy GI-trained Oshi Advanced Practice Providers as integrated, full-time virtual staff, enabling practices to increase visit volume without adding local headcount, physical space, or administrative overhead.
These Oshi clinicians operate under the oversight of One GI physicians, with front-desk teams scheduling virtual visits as if they were in-house resources, preserving existing workflows while expanding access to care. The collaboration is designed to alleviate a structural capacity shortfall in GI services, with Oshi’s virtual team providing same-day, evening, and weekend appointments that can reduce wait times, prevent emergency department leakage, and support stronger long-term patient relationships.
By leveraging its multidisciplinary model, Oshi also extends One GI’s ability to manage complex and chronic GI conditions, including Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction, by embedding registered dietitians and behavioral health providers into patients’ ongoing care plans. These services are positioned as in-network, insurance-covered options, allowing One GI to offer more comprehensive care while maintaining financial alignment with payers and potentially lowering total cost of care.
Oshi’s leadership frames the partnership as a way for independent GI practices to do “more with what already works,” preserving physician control, protocols, and patient relationships while overlaying scalable virtual infrastructure. For Oshi, the agreement deepens its footprint in the independent GI segment and strengthens its value proposition to health plans that already cover more than 63 million lives through the company’s in-network status.
As the partnership goes live in select markets, Oshi begins to generate recurring service revenue tied to One GI’s expanded appointment supply and associated downstream procedures and follow-up care. Over time, performance metrics such as reduction in no-shows, improved speed to diagnosis, and lower acute care utilization will be critical to demonstrating ROI for both organizations and could support broader rollout across One GI’s network and further payer collaborations for Oshi.
