At the SALGBA 2026 National Conference, Oshi Health highlighted a panel featuring its lead GI provider focused on integrating diabetes, musculoskeletal, and digestive care within employer-sponsored benefits. The company underscored how virtual and digital tools can coordinate care, reduce surgeries and ER visits, and improve adherence to therapies, including GLP-1 medications.
Oshi Health also expanded its presence in the gastroenterology market through a strategic partnership with One GI, a large network of independent GI practices, anchored by its Access+ program. The collaboration allows One GI to use GI-trained Oshi advanced practice providers as integrated virtual staff, increasing visit capacity without adding local headcount or physical space.
The One GI arrangement is designed to offer same-day, evening, and weekend virtual appointments under One GI physician oversight, with front-desk teams booking Oshi visits as if they were in-house. This model aims to cut wait times, reduce emergency department leakage, and support more comprehensive management of complex GI conditions via embedded dietitians and behavioral health providers.
During IBS Awareness Month, Oshi Health used educational campaigns to encourage patients to openly discuss symptoms and track patterns using tools like the Bristol Stool Chart.
