Openlayer has been named a Representative Vendor in Gartner’s 2026 Market Guide for AI Evaluation and Observability Platforms, underscoring its role in a rapidly formalizing segment focused on testing and monitoring AI systems from development through production. The recognition places Openlayer on the radar of large enterprises seeking structured ways to manage the nondeterminism of generative and agentic AI, where reliability, repeatability, and trust are becoming board-level concerns.
CEO Gabriel Bayomi said the inclusion validates Openlayer’s strategy to offer a unified control plane that integrates evaluation, observability, and governance across the AI lifecycle, reducing guesswork in model deployment and performance management. The platform is already used by regulated sectors such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, utilities, and telecom, where it supports structured testing, production monitoring, security guardrails, and audit-ready reporting for modern AI systems, including GenAI and agent-based applications.
