OneTrust has appointed Doug Owens as Chief Financial Officer, placing an experienced enterprise software and private equity operator at the center of its global finance function as the company scales its AI-Ready Governance platform. Owens will oversee worldwide financial operations and bring two decades of experience in disciplined growth, operational rigor, and value creation, experience that OneTrust CEO John Heyman highlighted as critical for executing both organic and inorganic expansion.
Owens most recently served as Managing Director of Business Operations at Vista Equity Partners, working hands-on with portfolio companies to instill financial discipline and long-term value strategies, and previously was CFO at PDI Software, where he led finance, accounting, and risk management. His earlier roles at Vista Consulting Group, Radiant Systems, and as Vice President and Divisional CFO of NCR’s hospitality business reinforce his background in scaling technology businesses, which he says he will now apply to accelerate OneTrust’s customer value delivery and support responsible AI-led innovation.
