Nudge Security has appointed Patrick Dillon as its first Chief Revenue Officer, signaling a deliberate push to scale its revenue engine as demand for AI and SaaS security governance accelerates. Dillon will oversee global sales, customer success, and channel partnerships, aligning go-to-market execution with the company’s strategy to address enterprises’ growing exposure to AI tools, SaaS applications, and non-human identities.

CEO and co-founder Russell Spitler said the company’s rapid expansion reflects urgent customer needs for scalable governance of workforce AI and SaaS usage, positioning Dillon’s appointment as a key lever for the next phase of growth. Dillon, who has led go-to-market organizations across cybersecurity and enterprise software at firms including Airlock Digital, Saviynt, BeyondTrust, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, is known for scaling businesses from early-stage to roughly $150 million in revenue.

He emphasized that effective AI governance starts with broad visibility across an organization’s attack surface, arguing that many legacy tools are confined to narrow ecosystems while Nudge Security’s platform is designed to discover and manage what lies beyond those boundaries. The company reports that since its October 2022 launch, it has tripled annual recurring revenue in two consecutive years, onboarded more than 200 customers, and shipped over 150 product enhancements, including nearly 70 new features in 2025.

Recent product updates include AI agent discovery capabilities, which enable security teams to identify, evaluate, and enforce policies on AI agents as employees deploy them, supporting a more comprehensive AI security and governance posture. Backed by investors such as Cerberus Ventures, Ballistic Ventures, Forgepoint Capital, and Squadra Ventures, Nudge Security is positioning Dillon’s hire and its accelerating product roadmap as foundations for predictable, long-term growth in the AI and SaaS governance market.
