Nord Security has entered a strategic partnership with CrowdStrike to jointly deliver enterprise-grade cybersecurity to small and midsize businesses (SMBs), positioning Nord as a key access and credential management provider in a large, underpenetrated segment. The companies will integrate Nord Security’s secure access and credential management products with CrowdStrike’s AI-native Falcon platform, creating a bundled offering aimed at SMBs that lack budget, in-house expertise, and AI-enabled defenses. Citing CrowdStrike’s State of SMB Cybersecurity Survey, the companies highlight that only 36% of SMBs are investing in new cybersecurity tools and just 11% use AI-powered defenses, even as attackers increasingly deploy enterprise-level tactics against smaller firms. This demand-supply gap creates a clear commercial opportunity for Nord Security to expand distribution of its NordLayer and related business-focused solutions through a partner with strong brand recognition and enterprise-grade detection capabilities.
For Nord Security, the collaboration is a go-to-market and product strategy play designed to make its secure access and credential management stack more integral to end-to-end threat protection for growing businesses. Mantas Ulozas, Chief Business Development Officer for B2B Commercial at Nord Security, framed the deal as a way to reduce cost and complexity barriers that have historically kept SMBs from accessing high-end protection, emphasizing that customers will gain better visibility and control over an expanding attack surface. By embedding its technologies alongside Falcon in a jointly positioned SMB solution, Nord Security strengthens its role in identity, access, and credential security within a broader AI-driven security architecture. While no financial terms were disclosed, the partnership has the potential to increase Nord’s recurring B2B revenue, deepen relationships with growth-stage customers, and enhance its competitive standing against other secure access and password/credential management providers targeting the SMB segment.
