Nexus IT has completed the acquisition of Manhattan-based Imagis, marking its 10th transaction and advancing its plan to become a Top 10 managed service and security provider in the U.S. for healthcare, financial, and other regulated clients. The deal folds Imagis’s staff and customer base into Nexus IT’s national platform, broadening the company’s East Coast presence and its capacity to deliver managed IT, cloud, cybersecurity, and compliance services.
Founder and CEO Earl Foote said the move materially strengthens Nexus IT’s ability to support organizations that “depend on getting it right every day,” underscoring the company’s focus on mission-critical, regulation-heavy environments. Imagis CEO Sam Shargo emphasized that the decision followed careful evaluation of M&A options and was based on strategic fit rather than price, positioning the combined business to scale while preserving high-touch service standards for healthcare and financial clients.
