NetRise Expands Supply Chain Security Platform to Cover AI Models and Components

According to a recent LinkedIn post from NetRise, the company’s platform now incorporates functionality to identify and analyze artificial intelligence models and components within firmware and software packages. The post indicates these AI artifacts can be added directly into software bills of materials, or SBOMs, bringing them into existing software supply chain visibility workflows.

The company’s LinkedIn post highlights capabilities such as detecting AI models in scanned binaries, surfacing them alongside other components in the SBOM, and showing associated providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Hugging Face, and others. The update also appears to provide model-level context such as framework, architecture, parameter count, input and output shapes, and provenance.

According to the post, users can filter specifically for AI components within their existing analysis processes, without adding separate workflows. Supported formats mentioned include ONNX, TFLite, SafeTensors, TensorRT, and pickle, suggesting coverage of common AI deployment formats relevant to embedded systems and modern machine learning applications.
