Mutuum Finance is approaching a key inflection point as it nears the end of its Phase 2 development roadmap and prepares to launch the V1 version of its decentralized lending protocol on the Sepolia testnet in Q1 2026. The project, which aims to let users borrow and earn yield without liquidating their crypto holdings, has integrated collateralization, liquidation mechanics and dual lending markets designed to offer predictable borrowing terms and transparent returns, positioning Mutuum as a contender in the next DeFi lending cycle. Unlike many early-stage tokens that list before any real infrastructure exists, Mutuum has prioritized building and security validation ahead of broad market access, which has become a central factor in investor interest.

Financially, Mutuum’s presale has raised more than $19.5 million from over 19,300 investors, with roughly 830 million tokens already sold out of the 1.82 billion MUTM allocated to presale (45.5% of the 4 billion total supply). The token, which launched its presale in early 2025 at $0.01, is now in Phase 7 at $0.04, reflecting a 300% price increase and accelerating demand as remaining inventory tightens. Phase 7 represents 6% of total presale allocation, and the project has broadened access by allowing card payments, lowering the barrier for participants not already holding stablecoins or exchange balances; a 24-hour leaderboard that rewards the top daily contributor with $500 in MUTM further supports momentum. For executives and institutional participants tracking DeFi lending entrants, Mutuum’s combination of material capital raised, wide token distribution, visible roadmap execution and an imminent testnet launch suggests it is moving from speculative narrative into a utility phase, with 2026 shaping up as the first real test of its protocol design and market adoption.
