mPATH Health also drew attention to the Mary Jean Etten Caregiver Advancement Endowment, which supports the development of future caregivers in hospice and palliative care. With the Suncoast Hospice Foundation currently matching donations, the initiative reinforces workforce development and mission-driven care in the broader Empath network.
In parallel, mPATH Health is positioned as a key engagement and support partner as Empath Health completes its integration with Trustbridge to form Empath Trustbridge Hospice. The combined non-profit network is now the largest hospice provider in Florida, connecting about 1,400 colleagues, 565 volunteers and serving roughly 11,000 patients and families annually.
This enlarged platform covers around one in five hospice patients in the state and is designed to expand access to specialized dementia care, grief support and broader “Full Life Care” services in Palm Beach and Broward counties. The increased scale may enable operational efficiencies, steadier patient volumes and stronger negotiating leverage with payers and partners.
mPATH Health also spotlighted Empath’s 12 non-profit resale stores, with a 13th planned, which serve as volunteer-driven outreach and incremental funding channels. These locations support bereavement and social connection while reinforcing local brand affinity and volunteer retention, enhancing the resilience of the hospice ecosystem.
Workforce and program investments were another focus, including the hiring of a hospice social worker at Tidewell Hospice and recruitment initiatives tied to Social Work Month. mPATH Health further highlighted Tidewell Honors programming for veterans, featuring pinning ceremonies that recognize military service and support veteran-centered care.
Collectively, the week’s developments show mPATH Health aligning closely with large-scale, community-based hospice operations and caregiver advancement initiatives. This alignment may strengthen its brand positioning and create a more robust platform for its engagement solutions within Florida’s hospice and palliative care landscape.
