Morpheus Space has secured a $15 million strategic investment led by Alpine Space Ventures and the European Investment Fund, with participation from existing backers including Lavrock Ventures, Morpheus Ventures, Pallas Ventures, and Vsquared Ventures, as well as other new and current investors. The capital will be used primarily to industrialize and scale mass production of the company’s GO-2 electric propulsion systems, positioning Morpheus to meet rising global demand for in-space mobility solutions.
The funding will expand manufacturing capacity at Morpheus Space’s Reloaded Facility in Dresden and support team growth to accelerate development of its next-generation mobility products for large satellite constellations. CEO Kevin Lausten said the investment enables the company to deliver propulsion units at a pace and efficiency aligned with the rapid expansion of the space economy, while continuing to advance its technology leadership. Alpine Space Ventures’ Bulent Altan emphasized that increasing orbital congestion and the strategic race in space make maneuverability a critical capability, and argued that Morpheus is well placed to address this market bottleneck with scalable, cost-efficient systems. With production scale-up and deeper technical capability, Morpheus aims to broaden support for both commercial and government customers worldwide from its facilities in Dresden and its U.S. operations in El Segundo, California.
