MoonPay is anchoring a roughly KRW 110 billion (about $76 million) investment into Korean fintech pioneer Finger, in partnership with KOSDAQ-listed Sungho Electronics, its owner Seoryong Electronics, and Pantos Holdings, to build a full-stack Korean won stablecoin infrastructure from issuance to real-world usage. The deal will connect MoonPay’s global crypto and stablecoin payments rails with Finger’s core domestic financial software network, which underpins mobile banking for tens of millions of Korean users and powers services for major institutions and banks.

Finger, founded in 2000 and generating KRW 91.6 billion in revenue and KRW 1.4 billion in operating profit last year, supplies mobile banking and financial platform solutions to leading Korean banks and public institutions, giving MoonPay immediate distribution reach for future stablecoin-based products. MoonPay plans to integrate its stablecoin issuance and orchestration capabilities with Finger’s infrastructure and link Finger’s cloud ERP platform, Pharos, to MoonPay’s payment rails, enabling stablecoin settlement for corporate trade payments and positioning the company to capture B2B payment flows in Korea. Following the transaction, Seoryong Electronics will become Finger’s largest shareholder while existing key shareholder Park Min-soo remains as an advisor, providing governance continuity as MoonPay builds this strategic foothold. Executives at MoonPay describe the investment as a foundational move in Asia, complementing the company’s extensive regulatory footprint, including a New York BitLicense, a New York Limited Purpose Trust Charter, U.S. money transmitter licenses, and MiCA authorization in the EU, and signaling an intent to expand stablecoin-based financial services across major regulated markets.
