MoMo Boosts Cloud, GenAI Skills and Advances Digital Trust Agenda in Vietnam

MoMo (M_Service) featured a week focused on technology capability building and industry thought leadership in Vietnam’s digital finance sector. The Vietnamese fintech firm collaborated with Amazon Web Services to host an internal AWS GameDay event themed “Unicorn Party,” emphasizing hands-on work with cloud and generative AI technologies via Amazon Bedrock.

More than 170 employees from MoMo’s Information Technology Center and Data Corporate Office formed 40 teams to tackle cloud and GenAI challenges in a sandbox environment. The initiative underscores MoMo’s push to deepen internal technical skills, foster experimentation under ambiguity, and support AI-driven product innovation and operational efficiency.

In parallel, MoMo announced it is co-organizing the “Digital Trust in Finance 2026” conference in Hanoi with the Department of Cybersecurity and High-tech Crime Prevention and the Digital Trust Alliance. Scheduled for May 12, 2026, the event is expected to draw over 1,000 delegates and more than 100 industry leaders from finance, technology, and cybersecurity.

Conference sessions will address impersonation scams, emerging fraud patterns, and security technologies used to safeguard digital finance in the AI era. MoMo’s role as co-organizer positions the company as an active contributor to Vietnam’s cybersecurity and fraud-prevention agenda, aligning it closely with regulators and other ecosystem participants.

These developments highlight MoMo’s strategic focus on both advanced technological capabilities and digital trust infrastructure as it operates in Vietnam’s fast-growing cashless economy. Collectively, the initiatives may strengthen MoMo’s competitive position, enhance its credibility with regulators and partners, and support sustainable long-term growth in digital payments and financial services.
