Mach Industries has appointed Amanda Sustak as Senior Vice President of Business Development, signaling an aggressive push to expand its presence across U.S. Department of War, Intelligence Community, and national and homeland security markets. In the new role, Sustak will lead growth strategy and customer engagement, aligning Mach’s portfolio of advanced unmanned systems and vertically integrated weapons and propulsion capabilities with complex operational needs.
CEO and founder Ethan Thornton said Sustak’s background in building high-performing growth organizations positions Mach for its next phase of expansion in defense and national security. Sustak, who previously led business development at Somewear Labs and held senior roles at Jacobs Engineering Group, the Department of Homeland Security, and the FBI, is expected to focus on market expansion, revenue growth, and deeper penetration of mission-critical programs, reinforcing Mach Industries’ trajectory as a scaling defense manufacturer founded in 2023 and headquartered in Huntington Beach, California.
