Littlebird has publicly launched its context-aware AI assistant for macOS and raised an $11 million seed round led by Lotus Studio, with participation from notable angel investors including Lenny Rachitsky and Scott Belsky. The San Francisco-based startup positions its product as a full-context AI that eliminates the need for users to copy-paste information or craft lengthy prompts by continuously understanding on-screen content and live meetings.

The application reads structured data from all visible Mac apps and transcribes meetings in real time, enabling users to retrieve prior discussions, draft documents, and connect information across disconnected tools, with an internal survey showing most users save at least half a day per week and report reduced work-related stress. Built “privacy by design,” Littlebird is SOC 2 certified, compliant with GDPR and CCPA, encrypts data in transit and at rest, avoids using user data to train models, and gives users granular controls to pause collection, exclude apps or sites, and delete stored information, positioning the company to scale its AI workplace assistant while addressing enterprise trust and compliance requirements.
