Keycard, a private provider of identity and access infrastructure for AI agents, has been selected for CB Insights’ 10th annual AI 100 list, highlighting it as one of the most promising private AI companies globally. The recognition follows Keycard’s October 2025 emergence from stealth with an identity and access platform for AI agents and $38 million in combined seed and Series A funding from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, boldstart ventures and Acrew Capital.
The company’s platform is now in production and is designed to let enterprises build and deploy AI agents at scale while maintaining strict control over access and permissions. Keycard provides drop-in SDKs so developers can give agents secure access to tools and infrastructure, and it enables organizations to adopt third-party agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex and OpenClaw without losing governance, by identifying agents, enforcing task-scoped access at runtime and creating a full audit trail of all actions.
