Kadence has introduced SpaceOps, an AI-driven workplace planning product that sits inside its existing platform and links portfolio modeling, floor design, team allocation, and execution to the same real-time occupancy data employees generate through daily desk and room use. By basing plans on who actually comes into which spaces and when, rather than static org charts or consultant assumptions, Kadence aims to help enterprises make more defensible, CFO-ready decisions on consolidations, relocations, and reconfiguration of office portfolios.
SpaceOps uses a conversational AI agent, built in-house and trained on years of Kadence occupancy, floorplan, and team-structure data, to let workplace leaders ask in plain language for scenarios such as reducing to two floors while keeping key functions adjacent, then automatically generate and iterate layouts and workflows. Tightly integrated with Kadence’s WorkOps data pillar, which captures bookings, attendance, and team clustering, SpaceOps creates a feedback loop where live operational behavior continuously informs portfolio strategy and execution, lowering reliance on sensors or external consultants and potentially reducing both capital and operating costs for global hybrid workplace programs.
