IONITY is a high-power electric vehicle charging network focused on enabling long-distance e-mobility across Europe, and this weekly recap highlights notable developments for the company. IONITY announced that Aurélia Boscher has assumed the role of Country Manager for France and the Benelux region, overseeing operations in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Her mandate centers on network expansion and performance, with an emphasis on ultra-fast charging sites along major travel corridors and in urban and suburban hubs.

The company framed this leadership change as a way to improve coordination across multiple countries and accelerate rollout of charging infrastructure in Western Europe. Consolidating oversight is expected to support more efficient deployment, stronger regional partnerships, and a more cohesive response to evolving EU regulatory and incentive frameworks.

IONITY also highlighted its role in Porsche AG’s Cayenne Electric Experience Days in Germany, where the new Cayenne Electric was tested at IONITY charging hubs. Featuring the network in these events positions IONITY as a high-speed charging partner for premium EV brands and showcases real-world usage of its infrastructure to prospective customers.

The collaboration-focused messaging emphasized zero tailpipe CO₂ emissions and strong CO₂ class ratings for Porsche’s new electric models, aligning IONITY with next-generation, regulation-compliant EVs. While no financial terms were disclosed, increased brand visibility with a high-end OEM could support higher utilization rates, co-marketing opportunities, and longer-term demand for ultra-fast charging.

Taken together, this week’s developments point to IONITY advancing its strategic footprint through targeted leadership appointments and reinforced ties with a major automotive partner. These steps may strengthen its competitive positioning and underpin continued growth of its fast-charging network across Europe.
