Illumio, Inc. has introduced Illumio Insights, a new agentless solution designed to provide real-time visibility and breach containment across both data center and cloud environments by ingesting telemetry and policy data from existing Check Point and Fortinet firewalls. By converting firewall data into live traffic maps, the product gives security teams a unified view of hybrid network posture, highlighting application flows, high-risk pathways, policy gaps, and lateral movement risks without the need to deploy software agents.
The new capability extends Illumio’s reach into data center and endpoint estates and is intended to accelerate time to value by using customers’ current firewall infrastructure, reducing deployment friction and blind spots in complex hybrid environments. Illumio Insights operates alongside Illumio Segmentation as part of the Illumio Platform, which is positioned as a breach containment and microsegmentation suite for hybrid multi-cloud networks, and the integrations with Check Point and Fortinet are expected to deepen Illumio’s role in Zero Trust architectures and drive incremental platform adoption among enterprises seeking to improve ransomware and breach containment at scale.
