ICEYE US Forms High-Level Government Advisory Board to Deepen National Security Role

ICEYE US, the FOCI-mitigated U.S. affiliate of synthetic aperture radar specialist ICEYE, has established a Government Advisory Board to steer its expansion in the national security market. The board’s mandate is to help integrate commercial space-based SAR monitoring into U.S. defense and intelligence operations by advising on acquisition reform, mission architectures, and operational adoption.

The advisory board launches with two high-profile members: former National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Director Vice Admiral Bob Sharp (Ret.) and former U.S. Space Command Deputy Commander Lieutenant General John Shaw (Ret.). Their involvement signals ICEYE’s intent to position its SAR constellation as a core asset for U.S. defense, disaster response, and intelligence missions, potentially accelerating government contracts and solidifying ICEYE’s strategic role in the U.S. national security ecosystem.
