At the NRA 2026 show in Chicago, Hi Auto reported strong engagement with clients, partners, and industry leaders around Voice AI and drive-thru technology. Discussions centered on managing varied menus, regional accents, limited-time offers, and upsell strategies, all of which add complexity to large-scale deployments.
Recent disclosures indicate Hi Auto’s AI Order Taker is now in roughly 1,000 drive-thru locations, with completion rates above 93% and accuracy around 96%. These metrics suggest the platform is performing at a level that can support ongoing adoption and strengthen the company’s position in the QSR automation market.
To support further growth, Hi Auto appointed Parrish Chapman as Executive Vice President of Sales, signaling a push into larger enterprise deals. Chapman brings extensive experience in enterprise technology and restaurant operations, including roles at Dairy Queen, Church’s Chicken, and Wendy’s, which could help convert traction into multi-store and multi-brand contracts.
The company is also piloting a new analytics product, Window Intelligence, in closed beta with select operators. By combining order data from the speaker with audio at the pickup window, the tool aims to quantify interactions that drive up to 70% of QSR sales and surface signals such as greetings, tone, escalations, and protocol adherence.
This move expands Hi Auto’s role from automated order-taking into broader drive-thru workflow and performance analytics, potentially increasing wallet share and customer stickiness. Overall, the week reflected a mix of technology scaling, leadership expansion, and product innovation that positions Hi Auto for a more aggressive growth phase in AI-powered QSR operations.
