Harness has entered a strategic partnership with Wipro to embed its AI Software Delivery Platform into Wipro’s WEGA agent‑native delivery platform, creating a unified, AI-driven stack for managing everything that happens after code is written. The collaboration positions Harness at the core of Wipro’s AI software delivery strategy, giving Harness access to Wipro’s consulting-led go-to-market engine and global enterprise client base across 65 countries.
By combining Harness’ delivery intelligence, automation, and governance with Wipro’s WEGA platform and Wipro Intelligence suite, the partners aim to automate builds, tests, deployments, releases, feature management, cloud cost optimization, and incident response while reducing deployment risk and manual toil. Harness CEO Jyoti Bansal said the alliance directly targets the “AI Velocity Paradox,” where AI accelerates innovation but creates bottlenecks in post‑code delivery, and is intended to give enterprises a unified operating model for speed, reliability, security, and cost control.
For Harness, the deal strengthens its positioning as an AI-first software delivery infrastructure provider and should expand its footprint in large digital transformation programs, where Wipro typically operates as prime contractor. The partnership may accelerate adoption of Harness’ platform among enterprises seeking to standardize release processes and enforce stronger governance as they scale AI and cloud-native applications. While no financial terms were disclosed, the integration into WEGA effectively makes Harness a foundational component of Wipro’s AI-native delivery blueprint, increasing its strategic relevance to CIOs and CTOs.
Harness’ platform, powered by Harness AI and its Software Delivery Knowledge Graph, already claims to help customers like United Airlines, Morningstar, and Choice Hotels accelerate releases by up to 75%, cut cloud costs by 60%, and improve DevOps efficiency tenfold. Coupled with Wipro’s global delivery scale and AI consulting capabilities, the collaboration could deepen Harness’ role in large, multi-year modernization programs, potentially supporting higher recurring revenues and stronger retention among complex, regulated enterprises. Executives and investors should watch for follow-on references, co-developed offerings, and integrated sales motions as indicators of how quickly this partnership converts into pipeline and production deployments.
