Halcyon has opened a new 10,000-square-foot office in Austin, Texas, establishing a central hub for its engineering, product, and security research teams as the company scales its dedicated anti-ransomware platform and deepens customer engagement. CEO and Co-Founder Jon Miller said the Austin investment is intended to speed innovation and strengthen collaboration, leveraging the city’s technology ecosystem and proximity to key enterprise clients and partners.
The facility, located at 1300 E 5th Street, is designed to support cross-functional leadership alignment and will host executive briefings, partner meetings, and technical workshops focused on improving ransomware resilience for large organizations. CTO and Co-Founder Ryan Smith noted that the expanded Austin presence aligns with the firm’s existing leadership base and recruitment strategy, tapping a fast-growing cybersecurity talent pool as Halcyon hires across engineering, security research, and product roles to keep pace with an increasingly complex ransomware threat environment.
