Guideline has expanded its Ad Intelligence Insights platform with Local Dynamics Quarterly, a subscription product that provides transaction-level benchmarking of advertising spend across more than 175 U.S. designated market areas and major channels including out-of-home, TV, radio, and digital. Targeted at agencies, publishers, and station groups, the service replaces estimate- and panel-based market intelligence with verified spend data, enabling clients to compare national budgets with local market activity and identify where category demand and media mix are shifting.

Built on Guideline’s proprietary dataset, which tracks roughly $200 billion in annual media investment across 65 countries, Local Dynamics Quarterly analyzes more than 100 local advertising sub-categories to surface growth segments, underpriced inventory, and evolving revenue opportunities. Executives can use the standardized quarterly reports to arm sales teams with data-backed pricing narratives, monitor shifts between local and national advertising budgets, and align go-to-market and planning decisions with real-time demand signals, which Guideline’s Chief Insights and Analytics Officer Sean Wright says are increasingly critical as local markets sit at the leading edge of changes in geotargeting and economic trends.
