GrowthPal has secured a $2.6 million funding round to accelerate development and global rollout of its AI-powered M&A copilot, positioning the company at the center of a shift toward more programmatic, data-driven inorganic growth. Led by Ideaspring Capital with participation from global angel investors, the capital will be used to deepen product capabilities, enhance AI-driven reasoning, and expand GrowthPal’s presence in the US and other international markets, targeting corporate development teams, private equity-backed platforms, and high-growth enterprises. Co-founded by Maneesh Bhandari (CEO), Shalu Mitruka, and Amaresh Shirsat, GrowthPal focuses on solving one of the most time- and resource-intensive problems in M&A: sourcing qualified, high-fit targets—particularly in mid-market deals under roughly $70 million that are often underserved by traditional investment banks.

GrowthPal’s platform operates as an intelligent M&A copilot, converting a buyer’s strategic objectives—such as entering a new geography or acquiring specific capabilities—into a structured acquisition thesis and then using AI agents to screen more than four million technology companies. The system analyzes signals from public filings, web activity, hiring patterns, funding history, and other indicators to surface a tight list of high-intent, off-market or lightly shopped targets, rather than broad, generic lists from traditional databases. The company reports having supported over 42 completed M&A transactions and more than 210 LOI-stage engagements across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, including one client that executed seven acquisitions in 18 months via the platform. As M&A teams face pressure to do more with leaner resources and compressed timelines, GrowthPal plans to extend its AI deeper into valuation reasoning, deal structuring, and negotiation preparation, with the long-term ambition to become a core system of intelligence for end-to-end M&A decision-making.
