Granola has raised $125 million in Series C funding led by Index Ventures and Kleiner Perkins, lifting its valuation to $1.5 billion and bringing total capital raised to $192 million in under a year. The company is pivoting from a prosumer transcription tool into an enterprise-grade platform, winning adoption at organizations such as Vanta, Gusto, Thumbtack, Asana, Cursor, Lovable, Decagon, and Mistral AI as it broadens beyond simple AI meeting notes.

To deepen its role in customers’ AI workflows, Granola is launching Spaces, a team workspace with folder-level access controls and targeted search, alongside new personal and enterprise APIs that expose meeting context to other AI systems. These APIs, plus an upgraded Model Context Protocol server, are partly a response to user backlash after changes to local data storage disrupted on-device AI agents, and position Granola to move from commodity note-taking into action-oriented use cases such as automated follow-ups, scheduling, and CRM enrichment in a market crowded with rivals like Read AI, Fireflies, and Quill.
