Galileo Positions AI Security Offering Around EU AI Act and OWASP Framework

According to a recent LinkedIn post from Galileo, the company is drawing attention to increasing regulatory and security pressures around “agentic” AI systems as the EU AI Act moves toward enforcement. The post highlights that audits are expected to begin in August, and suggests that large financial institutions are already requiring stricter security sign-offs before deploying agent-based AI into production.

The post indicates that many enterprises currently address only a subset of the OWASP Top 10 threats specific to agentic AI, with particular gaps in areas such as tool misuse, identity abuse, privilege escalation, and inter-agent communication risks. Galileo’s team argues that traditional application security models, which assume fixed system behavior, may not adequately cover adaptive AI agents.

The document is positioned as guidance on mapping each OWASP ASI01–ASI10 threat to concrete detection controls, designing platform-level and per-agent policies, and creating immutable audit trails aligned with regulatory expectations including the EU AI Act and GDPR.
