Function Health is rolling out a secure data connector to Microsoft Copilot Health, allowing its members to feed comprehensive lab and imaging data directly into the AI assistant for more personalized health guidance. The integration extends Function Health’s AI connector portfolio and positions the company at the center of a fast‑growing market where more than 200 million people ask health questions to AI tools each week, most of which are currently answered using generic population‑level data.
By routing Function Health’s longitudinal lab results and clinician reviews into Copilot Health, members can get AI interpretations that reflect their individual biology, potentially improving pattern recognition, action plans, and preparation for physician visits. CEO and co‑founder Jonathan Swerdlin said that thousands of members already use Function Health’s testing and scans to personalize AI chats and argued that once users experience AI grounded in their own biology, generic outputs become less acceptable, underscoring a strategic shift toward data‑rich, member‑controlled AI health experiences.
