Flexzo Ai has secured a multi-year, multi-site agreement to deploy its AI-powered healthcare workforce platform across Island Doctors’ primary care clinics in Florida, positioning the company as a core infrastructure provider for the group’s staffing strategy. Under the subscription-based deal, Flexzo Ai will deliver autonomous workforce automation, real-time staffing intelligence, and AI-driven clinician engagement to help Island Doctors reduce agency dependence, improve fill rates, and gain tighter cost control.
The platform will enable Island Doctors to build and manage an internal float pool, with automated compliance checks, intelligent shift matching, and predictive shortage forecasting integrated into existing scheduling and payroll systems. Flexzo Ai’s technology continuously tracks clinician availability, reactivates inactive but qualified staff through an autonomous AI agent, and anticipates coverage gaps based on workforce data and broader market trends, supporting continuity of care and operational resilience across multiple sites.
Flexzo Ai’s CEO, Jack Henderson, said the partnership reflects a shift from reactive to proactive staffing, as U.S. providers seek to counter rising agency costs and chronic workforce shortages with AI-enabled internal capacity. The system’s predictive workforce intelligence and automated re-engagement are expected to offload recruiter workload while expanding usable clinician supply, with mobile integration providing real-time communication and faster shift fulfillment.
For Flexzo Ai, originally launched in the United Kingdom and proven in multiple NHS Trusts, the Island Doctors deployment is a key milestone in its U.S. expansion and a proof point for applying autonomous workforce technology in primary care settings. The deal underscores Flexzo Ai’s strategy to scale its modular staffing engine across growing clinic networks, deepen its presence in the U.S. healthcare market, and position its platform as a lever for providers seeking sustainable, technology-first workforce models.
