At Hannover Messe, Flexiv featured an automated automotive seat ironing and testing cell built around its Rizon 4 adaptive robot. One unit demonstrated advanced force control and surface tracking on curved seats, while another performed end-of-line testing of heating, cooling, and electronic systems.
The company reported strong booth traffic, extensive discussions with visitors, and an expert-stage presentation by its Europe Sales Leader on adaptive robotics and embodied AI. This outreach underscores Flexiv’s effort to deepen its presence in Europe and build a pipeline of customers and partners in smart manufacturing.
In parallel, Flexiv highlighted a demo where two Rizon 10 robots executed a full workflow using Rhoda AI’s Direct Video Action model. The system translated video input directly into robot motion to complete tasks such as unboxing, material placement, and waste disposal in a single continuous sequence.
By reducing reliance on traditional motion programming, the Rhoda AI integration aims to cut deployment and engineering time for industrial automation projects. This capability could make Flexiv’s platform more attractive in environments that require frequent task reconfiguration, such as contract manufacturing and electronics assembly.
Across these activities, Flexiv is positioning itself at the intersection of robotics, computer vision, and machine learning, targeting higher-value, semi-structured use cases. While the company has not disclosed commercialization timelines or financial metrics, the week’s announcements and trade-show presence collectively support its longer-term growth and market positioning efforts.
