Fireblocks has integrated the Canton Network into its digital asset infrastructure platform, positioning itself more firmly as a core provider for regulated tokenization and private settlement in institutional finance. The move enables Fireblocks customers to custody and transact Canton Coin (CC) within Fireblocks’ MPC-secured environment and through Fireblocks Trust Company, its New York State Department of Financial Services–chartered qualified custodian. This gives banks, custodians, asset managers, and other financial institutions a governed, regulatory-compliant framework to begin settling assets on Canton using Fireblocks’ enterprise policy controls, workflow automation, and institutional-grade wallet infrastructure. By supporting Canton Coin today and planning additional capabilities for Canton-based tokens and applications, Fireblocks is effectively building a pathway for clients to engage in tokenized securities, deposits, and other regulated digital instruments on a privacy-enabled, interoperable network.

Strategically, the integration aligns Fireblocks with increasing demand from traditional financial institutions for secure, compliant digital asset infrastructure tailored to tokenization and private markets. Canton’s design—focused on privacy, interoperability, and scalability across regulated markets—complements Fireblocks’ role as an infrastructure layer for institutional digital asset operations, helping reduce friction for global banks, market makers, and asset servicers that are experimenting with or scaling tokenized asset workflows. Fireblocks executives frame this as giving institutions a production-ready environment for confidential, governed settlement and future tokenization use cases, while external stakeholders cite Fireblocks’ security stack as critical for institutional-scale interaction with Canton. With Fireblocks already securing trillions of dollars in digital asset transfers annually for over 2,400 organizations, Canton support expands its addressable use cases in regulated digital finance and strengthens its competitive positioning as tokenization and on-chain settlement move from pilots toward mainstream institutional adoption.
